A delicious mouth watering desert made up of semolina, sugar, dry fruits flavoured with kesar (saffron) or kesari  power 

A very popular sweet  available in almost every tiffin center all over south India and similarly this sooji  ka halwa eaten with poori  for breakfast in north India.

Easy to prepare but heavenly in taste which can suits any festival/occasion or casual sweet cravings.

Ingredients for Rava Kesari recipe

Semolina – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 3/4 cup
Cashews – 12 no’s
Sultanas – 10 no’s
Water – 2 1/2 cups
Salt- to taste
Milk – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 30 ml
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 a Tsp
Kesari Powder – big pinch
