This video is about traditional steamed finger millet recipe. This puttu is mixed with jaggery, fresh grated coconut, cardamom and flavoured with ghee. It can be eaten for snacks or a breakfast meal. This steamed finger millet can also be served as a savoury, for a meal at any part of the day. It’s a very popular dish all over south India, which are served with bananas on the side.

Jaggery – 1/4 to 1/2 cups
Fresh grated coconut – 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Ghee – 1 Tbsp
