This video is about very famous traditional Chettinad sweet called Kandharappam. It is a very tasty sweet using simple house hold ingredients like rice, jaggery and coconut in a quick time. It takes time for soaking rice and lentil, no need fermentation and can be prepared as a very good snacks for guests and also offered to God on special occasions.

Ingredients For Kandharappam

Raw rice – 1 cup (levelled on top)
Urad Dal – 1 handful
Jaggery – 1 cup
Coconut – 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder – 1/4 Tsp
Salt – To Taste
Oil – for frying
