This video is about hot-sweet-sour and tasty chutney called inji puli Thokku / allam pachadi. This chutney is made with ginger, tamarind, jaggery and chilli. It has got a tempting taste which stimulates the hunger as well as helpful in digestion. It’s a very good accompaniment for idly, Dosa, Pesarattu. It tastes heavenly with curd rice and other variety rices.

Ingredients For Inji puli Thokku

Ginger – 250 gm
Tamarind- 60 To 70 gm
Jaggery- 100 to 125 gm
Salt – To taste
Chilli powder – 3 Tbsp

Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
Urad Dal – 1 1/2 Tsp
Hing – 3/4 Tsp
Oil – 50 ml
Red chillies – 4 no’s
Curry leaves – 2 spring
