This video is about simple tasty household recipe called Paruppu Thukaiyal and Jeera Rasam .This recipe is prepared in every South Indian house hold kitchen ,can be done in very quick time . It is generally eaten with hot steam rice with this combo . Vadagam or tempering spices which will enhance the taste and also bring the native taste to the dish.

Paruppu Thovaiyal

Toor Dal – 1/2 cup
Garlic – 4 pods
Dry Chillies – 4 no’s
Pepper- 1/2 Tsp
Salt – To Taste

Cumin Rasam

Tamarind – lemon size
Pepper – 1 Tsp
Cumin – 1 1/2 Tsp
Garlic – 3 pods
Hing – 1/4 Tsp
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Turmeric – 1/4 Tsp
Vadagam – 1
