This video is about a very simple, yet tasty household dish called Appala Kulambu. If there is no vegetables at home this can substitute the vegetables for the Kulambu. This dish can be eaten with steam rice. Roasted spices are ground and used in this recipe which will give it a tempting taste

For ground spice

Grated coconut – 1/2 no’s
Dry Red chillies – 6 – 7 no’s
Coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
Channa dhal – 1 tbsp
Urad dhal – 1 tbsp
Raw rice – 1 tsp
Fenugreek seed – 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
