This video is about a very famous Andhra special dish made out of Green gram dal and rice called Pesarattu. This recipe doesn’t require any fermentation process, we can make it straight away. This dish is packed with protein traditionally served with ginger, tamarind, jaggy and chilli chutney called “Allan Pachadi”. This can be prepared in many variations using different toppings and also stuffing with Rava Uppma which is well known as “MLA Pesarattu “.

Green gram Dal – 2 cups
Raw rice – 1/2 cup
Ginger – 1 1/2 inch piece
Green chillies- 8 to 10 no’s
Salt – To Taste
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Oil – for cooking

For toppings and stuffing

Onion – 1/2 No
Ginger – little bit
Cumin seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Uppma – 2 cups
