This video is about a spiced gunpowder, riced dumpling called Mani kozhukattai, Ammani Kozhukattai or Kara kozhukattai. This Kozhukattai is made out of rice flour dough and then tempered with mustard, Hing & curry leaves. Spices with idly podi called gunpowder, this is a savoury version of Kozhukattai. Its also for the offer to the god, this is a great evening time snack.

Idiyappam flour – 1 cup
Water – 1 1/4 cup
Salt – to taste
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Hing – 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves – 2 sprig
Idly chilli powder – 2 to 2 1/2 tbsp
Oil – 25 ml
