This video is about very famous south indian festival steamed sweet rice dumpling called Kzhukattai . kozhukattai or kolukattai is a festive South Indian sweet of steamed dumplings made with rice flour dough and stuffed with a filling of coconut and jaggery ,flavoured with cardamom. Basically kozhukattai is the South Indian variation of modagam or modak made in maharashtra. modagam or kozhukattai is also offered to god ganesha during the festival of Vinayaka Chaturthi in South Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
