This video is about a very famous South Indian snack called Keerai vadai. It’s made out of coarser ground, soaked urad dhal along with chopped spinach leaves with fresh spices and then deep Fried. It’s a very good and tasty snack which is also healthy in way because we use fresh greens. Instead of spinach You can use siru keerai or arai Keerai. This is generally served with coconut chutney.

Urad Dhal – 2 cup
Spinach – 1/2 bunch
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Peppercorns – 12 no’s
Hing – 1/4 tsp
Green chillies – 3 no’s
Ginger – 1/2 inch size
Curry leaves – 2 sprig
Salt – to taste
Oil – for frying
