Toor Dal – 3/4 cup
Tomatoes – 2
Turmeric powder – 1/4 Tsp
Salt – To Taste
Oil -1 Tsp
Tamarind – big gooseberry size
Drumsticks – 2
Green Chillies – 4
Shallots – 10 to 12 no’s
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Sambar Powder – 2 Tbsp

For Tempering

Oil – 2 Tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
Fenugreek – 1/4 Tsp
Dry Chillies – 3
Hing – 1/4 Tsp
Coriander leaves – 2 springs
