This video is about using raw banana with Kulambu powder ,shallow fried in a South Indian style called Vazhakkai Varuval | roast . It’s exactly look like fish fry ,when we roast them ,that’s why it’s called saiva Meen varuval (Vegetarian version of fish fry ) . It’s goes very well with sambar rice and curd rice .

Raw Banana – 3 No’s
Turmeric for blanching
Salt – To taste
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 Tsp
Chilli powder – 1 1/2 Tbsp
Kulambu podi – 1 1/2 Tbsp
Lemon – 3/4
Gingelly Oil – for frying
Mustard seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Urad Dal – 1 Tsp
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
