This video is about simple and tasty South Indian style root vegetable preparation called sweet potato Karakari. This sweet potato got a low glycemic index,also it’s got a good carbohydrates which helps to reduce the weight. It’s very simple and can be prepared with some household ingredients like tempering spices and sambar powder . It is served as a side dish along with a main dish .

Ingredients
Sweet potatoes – 2
Shallots – 3 to 4 No’s 
Ginger – 1 small piece 
Chilli powder – 1 Tsp 
Sambar powder – 3 1/2 Tbsp 
Salt – To Taste 
Hing – 1/4 Tsp
For Tempering
Red chillies – 2 no’s 
 Mustard seeds – 1/2 Tsp
 Urad Dal – 1 Tsp
 Channa Dal –  1 1/2 Tsp
 Fennel seeds – 1 1/2 Tsp
