This video is about a very simple and tasty root vegetable roast called seppankizhangu varuval. It’s prepared using kuzhambu podi and then it’s pan roasted until till it’s nice and crunchy. It’s a very simple, healthy and very instant household recipe which is eaten along with main meal like bissi bele bath and curd rice.

Ingredients:
Seppankizhangu/colacashia – 400 to 450 g
 Kuzhambu podi – 1 1/2 Tbsp
 Mustard seeds – 1/4 Tsp
 Urad dhal – 3/4 Tsp
 Dry Chillies – 2
 Shallots – 1 large no 
 Curry leaves – 2 sprig 
 Hing – 1/4 tsp
 Salt – to taste
