This video is about Tasty Ridge gourd skin chutney called Peerkangai Thol (Skin) Thuvaiyal. This chutney can be prepared simple and using household spices ,which can be accompanied with idly ,dosa and hot steam rice . To balance this chutney keep an eye on chilli, tamarind and salt in this recipe.

Ridge gourd peel – 3 hand full
Whole urad dal – 3 Tbsp
Garlic – 6 pods
Shallots – 12 no’s
Green chillies – 4
Red chillies – 4
Salt – To Taste
Tamarind – big gooseberry size
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Coriander leaves – 3 sprigs
Grated Coconut – 1/2 cup
