This video is about Indian style finger fish fry called Meen Kaidina . It is very famous tasty evening time snacks from Mangalore and other west coastal region of Karnataka and Goa . We have used Barramundi fillets ,you can also use mackerel or Tilapia fillets. It’s a very simple marinated fish dusted in semolina rice mixture and then deep fried .

Barramundi fillets – 600 to 700 grams
Or Mackerel or Tilapia fillets
Turmeric powder – 1/4 Tsp
Chilli powder – 1 1/2 Tbsp
Ginger garlic – 1 Tbsp
Salt – To Taste
Lemon – 1 No
Oil – for frying
Semolina – 1 cup
Rice flour – 1/2 cup
Chilli power – 1/2 Tsp
