This video is about a very healthy and traditional dish prepared using bitter gourd, tamarind, jaggery and gooseberry called Bitter gourd pachadi. This dish has all 6 tastes which are sweet, sour, salt , chilli , bitter and astringent. It helps to balance the body which is described in ancient siddha and Ayurveda. This dish does not just keep the body healthy, but teaches the living lifestyle. We must take this dish in our meal to get the benefit out of it now and then.

Bitter gourd – 1 1/2 no’s
Tamarind – 1 gooseberry size
Green chillies – 3 no’s
Gooseberry – 2 no’s
Jaggery – 3 Tbsp
Salt – to taste
Ginger – 1 small piece
Red chillies – 2 no’s
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Urad Dhal – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
