This Video is about வாழைக்காய் பஜ்ஜி | Plantain Bajji | Aratikaya Bajji | Balekai Bajji, a very simple and tasty ever green evening snack. The raw banana needs to be peeled off and then soaked in water and then sliced, dipped in a chickpea flour batter and deep fried. It is very tempting specially when you eat it sizzling hot and served with coconut Chutney. you can also make the Bajji using vegetables like potatoes, brinjal, cauliflower, onions and bread .

Ingredients For Plantain Bajji

Besan flour – 4 cups
Rice flour – 1 cup
Chilli powder – 1 Tbsp
Hing – 1/2 Tsp
Raw banana – 4 No’s
Salt – To Taste
Cooking Soda – 1/2 Tsp
Oil – For Frying
