This video is about the ultimate breakfast recipe Idli, which is a soft & fluffy steamed cake made of fermented rice & lentil batter. Idli is a traditional breakfast made in every south Indian household. The UN announced that, idli is a very good morning breakfast which got lots of probiotics bacteria. This dish is very healthy and easy to digest for any age group – from young kids to adults. This idli is served with hot sambar, fresh Coconut chutney, spicy Kara Chutney, Gun powder (Idli podi), homemade chicken / mutton curry and also goes very well with a day old fish curry .

Ingredients For Idli

Idly rice – 4 cups
Urad Dal – 1 cup
Flattened Rice ( Poha) – 1 1/2 Tbsp
Fenugreek – 1/2 Tsp
