This video is about Fisherman’s household recipe called Kuppam style Meen Kulambu .This Meen Kulambu is made by using Sankara Meen | Red snapper ,traditionally prepared in stoneware or earthen ware . This very tasty ,classy recipe cooked with household spice powder (Kulambu podi )and tempered with dry pounded spices called Vadagam . It is generally eaten with fresh steam rice ,it’s taste even better in next day .

Red Snapper – 1 (700 to 800 gms)
Lemon – 1/2 no
Salt
Turmeric – 1/4 Tsp

For Kulambu

Tamarind – lemon size
Tomatoes – 3 no’s
Turmeric – 1/2 Tsp
Chilli powder – 1 Tbsp
Kulambu podi – 3.5 Tbsp
Salt – To taste
Green Chillies – 6 No’s
Shallots – 20 no’s
Garlic – 10 pods
Curry leaves – 2 springs
Green mango – 1
Thalippu Vadagam – 2
Oil – 40 ml
Coriander leaves – 2 springs
