This recipe is about Iddiappam, also Known as Nool appam or Nool puttu and
String hoppers in English.T his is a very simple, healthy  and easy dish, good for breakfast and dinner, suits all ages from kids to and adult. It tastes extremely tempting and unstoppable when served with fresh coconut milk mixed with sugar or jaggery as a sweet, and also accompanied with vegetable stew, vegetable sothi, kurma, coconut chutney as a savoury. It can also be accompanied with lamb trotters ( attu kal paya ), home made chicken, mutton or fish curry. It is very popular culinary staple in south India especially in Tamil Nadu and Kerala as well as Sri Lanka and south east Asia.

Idiyappam rice flour – 2 cups 
Salt – to taste 
Water – 2 1/2 cups approximately
